Friday, November 6, 2009 - 11 Raleigh-Area Zaxby’s Offer Free Meals to Local Heroes; Collects Socks for Soldiers ZAXBY’S HOSTS COMMUNITY HEROES CELEBRATION HONORING FIRST RESPONDERS AND MILITARY
Eleven Area Zaxby’s Offer Free Meals to Local Heroes; Collects Socks for Soldiers


WHAT: In observance of Veterans Day, 11 Zaxby’s locations in the Triangle will be honoring all community heroes, including police officers, firefighters, EMTs and military servicemen and women during its Community Heroes Celebration next week.

In conjunction with Military Missions in Action’s Fill the Footlocker campaign, Zaxby’s will be having a sock drive for soldiers. White athletic socks are the top-requested care item by soldiers serving overseas. Guests who donate a package of new athletic socks at Zaxby’s will receive a FREE Nibbler sandwich.

On Veterans Day, Zaxby’s will be welcoming all men and women in uniform to the restaurants for a free meal. In appreciation of their dedication and service, any guest arriving in uniform or displaying anything indicating current or prior service will receive one free Meal Deal.
