Packages for Troops
Posted at 10:01 AM on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 by IJK in VFW Post 3770 Events
Each year Mrs. LaDora Pounds and her Mountain Grove 1st grade class start the ball rolling by collecting items to be sent to deployed troopers. The photo below is her students holding up the bags of personal items to be shared with the addresses that Post 3770 was able to obtain.

The photo above is of the items laid out before each package before inventory and packing. Each package was inventoried as it was being packed so there would be a list for filling out custom forms.

Packages ready for sealing. The young lady in the background assisted with inventory and packing.

Ready to go to the Post Office for shipping on November 23, 2009.
