VFW Donates Flags to Kuwait RFI

Soldiers deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan will be saluted by a unique set of U.S. State and Territorial flags. On January 28, flags from the 50 states, four U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia, were unveiled at a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Rapid Fielding Initiative’s (RFI) Facility Flag Display Building in Kuwait. More than 2,000 Soldiers pass through the RFI’s Life Support Area facility each day before boarding flights for Iraq and Afghanistan.
